Orion SkyQuest XT6 Classic Dobsonian

The XT6 is Orion's entry-level full-size Dobsonian — the US equivalent of the Sky-Watcher Heritage 150P, though on a more stable floor-standing rocker box rather than a tabletop base. At 150mm and f/8, it delivers crisp views of planets, satisfying globular cluster resolution, and a proper observing experience without a heavy carry. The EZ Finder II red dot finder is a useful addition. A well-built, honest scope for someone starting out in US astronomy who wants the Dobsonian experience at an accessible price.
